Since every member of our team is an integral part of your experience, we offer you this introduction to each of us.

Administrative Staff

Paige L. accepted the position of Administrative Coordinator/Office Manager in January of 2008. She is usually behind the scenes handling a variety of business responsibilities. Paige isn’t a newcomer to the office, having been a part of the APS family for 13 years. Paige has extensive experience and knowledge having been administrative supervisor for several years at APS. She embodies a business woman and a patient advocate all in one.

Upon entering Aesthetic Plastic Surgery odds are that the first smiling face and warm greeting you’ll enjoy will come from our receptionist Tiffany. Whether a patient is scheduling or revising an appointment, Tiffany will coordinate all of the details in order to ensure total satisfaction. While paperwork is unavoidable, the amount is small and Tiffany will be happy to help you with this.

Johnna and Terri (Patient Care Coordinators) are very familiar with the questions that people have about plastic surgery. When you call the office they will send you information about our practice and any surgeries that may interest you. They will try their best to accommodate your needs. Having helped many people through the process in the past they will do everything to assist you. Just relax, talk to Johnna or Terri, tell them what you want and let them help you. They will coordinate the scheduling of your surgery and/or ancillary service. Johnna or Terri will also explain the cost of your procedure, including the surgeon’s fees, the anesthesia fee and the facility fees.

Diane joined the team in 2001 as a patient care coordinator. She now works part-time as administrative assistant, handling the accounting and assisting Paige L. with marketing.

Clinical Staff

Paige H., RN is Clinical Supervisor having worked with Dr. Dawkins for 19 years. A licensed aesthetician/RN Paige specializes in injectable fillers and has received advanced training in facial sculpting. She attended advanced Botox® training. Paige was trained by a vascular surgeon in sclerotherapy. Extensive training in the use of lasers, pulsed light sources, and Fraxel® round out the skills and knowledge Paige brings to APS.

Licensed Aesthetician Holly joined Dr. Dawkins in 1996.   Areas of expertise include treatments for hyperpigmentation, fine lines, aging skin, acne, and rosacea. With the addition of the Fraxel®, Holly's training allows her to treat not only the face, but aging and sun-damaged neck, décolleté, and hands. Holly has also received training in the use of pulsed light sources to remove sunspots, visible veins, and other imperfections and remove unwanted hair.  Holly’s training in Endermologie® proves invaluable to Dr. Dawkins’ surgical patients after liposuction to smooth tissues after surgery and treat post-adolescent women affected by cellulite.

OR Staff

Selina, RN works closely with Dr. Dawkins by helping with patients’ pre-operative and post-operative needs and is his assistant in the operating room. She can answer most questions regarding the office or your care. Selina will assist you with gathering pre-operative medical information and will be there to answer any questions you may have both pre and post operatively. She has helped many patients through this process in the past and, will do everything to assist you in making your experience easy and pleasurable. Selina is also trained in injectable fillers and Botox® injections.

Deborah assists Dr. Dawkins in the operating room and she is also responsible for maintaining supplies and sterilization of instruments. She performs her technical duties with the safety and health of each patient in mind.

Following surgery each patient will receive great care in their recovery by one of the following Registered Nurses, Catherine, Sharyn, or Susanne who job share the position of Recovery Nurse. Their concern is the patient’s comfort and they give their all in making sure that the patient has a great experience. They review post operative instructions and remind patients to call if they have any questions. Our patients love them!

Dr. Dawkins encourages continuing education and training of each staff member.

All of our aestheticians are members of The Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists, a voluntary, non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of education, enhancement of clinical skills and the delivery of safe, quality skin care provided to patients within the office of a Plastic Surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Meet Michael Todd

Working with Dr. Dawkins is our Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, Michael Todd.

Michael plays a vital role in ensuring our patients’ safe and successful cosmetic surgery experiences. He has been administering anesthesia since 1999 and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and the North Carolina Association of Nurse Anesthetists. Our patients think Mike is the best!
